August 24th Union Church will be leading worship at Holy Trinity Episcopal  We will gather in their sanctuary at 9:30AM at 1326 4th Street.   Scriptures: Exodus 1:8-2:10; Romans 12:1-8; Matthew 16:13-20

August 31st  Scriptures: Exodus 3:1-15; Romans 12:9-21; Matthew 16:21-28

Christian Education News:  

Valley Fair: On Tuesday, July 1st, we have the opportunity to get tickets at a discounted rate as long as we can get a minimum of 15 interested participants.  Please contact Marthe Herbert if you would like to go.

Pilgrim Point: The brochures are available in the church office.  Pick one up to look for a fun camp that suits you.

Church School Teachers Needed: We are looking for people who are willing to commit to one Sunday a month. There are openings in grades Preschool - 7th grade.  Please contact Marthe Herbert, Marce Ediger or any CE Board member if you are interested.

Neatniks Needed:  If you have lots of "cleaning energy" you'd like to get rid of, consider helping out with some housekeeping jobs in the Sunday school rooms.  Please contact Marthe Herbert if you can help out.

Summer Nursery Help :  Mary Westholter has the summer off, so we could use some volunteers to help out.  Sign up on the sheet located outside the Nursery door.

*Marthe Herbert will be taking a well deserved break from June15-August 15.  Messages for Marthe can be left at the church office.

Youth News:  Congratulations to all the graduating high school seniors!  We extend our best wishes to: Jake Anderson, Megan Atkinson, Sam Bultnick, McKayla Hartwig, Ashley Holien, Darcie Marks, Seth Schaal, Chelsey Stevens and Ryan VanValkenburg.

UCC Events:

National Youth Event: This years' event is July 24-27 in Tennessee. The theme is Living the Life.  There are details on the bulletin board by the Youth Room. To sign up or for more information talk to Kristin Krueger

Summer Office Hours:  Just a reminder that office hours in the summer will be Tuesday-Friday - 9:30AM - 12:30PM, beginning on June 17th.  Please leave messages on the answering machine - it will be checked daily.

Summer Music: If you or someone you know would like to provide music for our worship service, please contact the church office or see the sign up in the Narthex.
